Fedora 9: Mozpluger- Multimedia Browser Plugin Installation via Yum
MozPlugger is a generic Mozilla plug-in that allows the use of standard Linux programs as plug-ins for media types on the Internet.

Mozplugger project was created with the goal of providing a minimalist, clean and stable general purpose Mozilla plugin module that allows the user to embed and launch their favourite application to handle the various different types of media found on the Internet.

Simply proceed with yum to install the mozplugger multimedia

# yum -y install mozplugger

Mozplugger Local Installation

Mozplugger ships with Fedora ISO CD and DVD. Zoom in to Packages folder and you will noticed that Fedora 9 ships with mozplugger rpm packages. You can then install mozplugger addon using rpm installer like so

# rpm -ivh mozplugger-1.10.1-1.i386.rpm

Head on to Youtube and enjoy those multimedia videos now.
