Fedora 9: Adobe Reader Installation

There are several Adobe file readers from Fedora repo. Most of them have earned their credits on reading Adobe Reader files. However, Adobe Reader programs, as most any other application does, updates itself for enhancements and improvements to provide more features and convenience.

For this reason, here's a quick post on how to install Adobe Reader rpm package installer from Adobe website.

Fedora 9: Adobe Reader Installation

# rpm -ivh http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/unix/8.x/8.1.2/enu/AdobeReader_enu-8.1.2-1.i486.rpm

The above install the Adobe rpm package version 8 with English as its default language. To install a different version and language, visit Adobe site here.
