The previous was Fedora Core 6, now they call it F7 - Fedora 7 which was released last May 31, 2007. I actually waited 4 days before I start downloading.
Yes, I have successfully downloaded a DVD ISO image. And happy to have my first captured desktop image after a 3rd reboot of a fully functional F7 powered desktop. See image below:
Here is my original xorg.conf:
Have played installing it via CDROM, via VMware, via VirtuaBox, from network, from shared NFS, from FTP and HTTP , most of all, handsfree installation via anaconda kickstart, just to play for a while. And the experience was awesome ! Having played Fedora Core 1 up to Fedora Core 6 - Fedora 7 was THE most furnished of them all. Well done F7 guys, keep moving up!Section "ServerLayout"

Distrowatch shows Fedora is still #3 from linux world, not bad. Well, nobody yet is willing to sponsor and distribute free CDs/DVDs worldwide from linux distros except Ubuntu.
With F7, you get the latest and bleeding-edge apps versions including zero-day bug patch right away. Such as the more secure SELinux which was production tested with F7 before any known linux distro. Another one was Fedora Directory server and more - compared to all linux distros, new ones would surely follow then.
Well, keep it up.
**It has been a while since my last posting dated Dec 2006, my apologies - I was blog-idle but not PID-defunct yet so here I am, blogging back. Oh, I was suprised to know that I had nice unique hits in more than 20 counties worldwide. Thanks peeps.
My current uptime is 33 days without desktop reboot, I am not sure if I can break my 285 days uptime again. Power source problem... :(
cheers
